The problem

Sound familiar?

Typed three times

The same customer details get keyed into three different systems — and none of them agree.

The WhatsApp office

Quotes, jobs and promises live in WhatsApp threads, a diary and someone’s head.

Copy-and-paste reporting

Month-end means an afternoon of pulling numbers into a spreadsheet that’s wrong by Tuesday.

The Dave spreadsheet

There’s one spreadsheet only one person understands. They’re on holiday.

None of this feels like a software problem — it’s just how things are. It doesn’t have to be.

See how we’d fix it

What we build

The right software for the job.

Sometimes that’s a polished customer experience. Sometimes it’s an internal tool nobody outside your team will see. We focus on the result, then choose the right technology.

01

Custom web applications

Secure, scalable software shaped around your customers, team and commercial model.

  • Customer portals
  • SaaS products
  • Booking & operations systems
02

Internal tools

Give your team one focused workspace instead of a maze of spreadsheets and manual steps.

  • Admin dashboards
  • CRM workflows
  • Reporting platforms
03

PWAs & mobile experiences

Fast, installable experiences that feel like an app and work across every device.

  • Field team apps
  • Member experiences
  • Offline-first tools
04

Websites that perform

Distinctive, technically excellent websites designed to build trust and generate action.

  • Service websites
  • Commerce experiences
  • Content platforms
05

Connect the tools you already use and remove repetitive work from your team’s week.

  • Workflow automation
  • API integrations
  • Data synchronisation
06

Practical AI

AI features grounded in useful workflows, with the right guardrails and human control.

  • Knowledge assistants
  • Document processing
  • Decision support

See it before you buy it

We show you. You decide.

01

Tell us what’s not working

A 90-second brief in plain English — or take the free AI audit if you’d rather be asked.

02

We build a prototype

A clickable mock-up of your system: your screens, your workflow, your language. Free for qualified projects.

03

You decide

If it’s not right, you’ve lost nothing. If it is, we’ve already started.

No 40-page proposals. Software businesses can click.

How we work

Clarity at every stage.

A direct, collaborative process that keeps risk low and momentum high.

01

Understand

We unpack the problem, the users and the value—then define the leanest useful first release.

02

Shape

You see the structure and experience early, before expensive engineering decisions are locked in.

03

Build

Working software ships in short, visible cycles with frequent demos and clear decisions.

04

Improve

We launch carefully, learn from real usage and refine what creates the most value.

Who you’ll work with

Built by the person you talk to.

Nexa is led by Tristan Glaves — a software engineer, not an account manager. You deal directly with the person designing and building your system, from first call to launch and beyond.

Common questions

Straight answers.

The things every sensible buyer asks before commissioning software — answered without the sales gloss.

How much does bespoke software cost?

Most Nexa projects land between £7,000 and £50,000, shaped as phased releases so value ships early. Automation projects often start smaller. You’ll always see a fixed, itemised price before any work begins — and a prototype before that.

How long does it take?

A useful first release typically ships in 4–10 weeks depending on scope. You’ll see working software every week — not a big reveal at the end.

We’re not technical. Is that a problem?

It’s the norm. You describe the business problem in plain English; we translate it into software and show you clickable screens before anything is built. No jargon at any stage.

Who owns the code?

You do. Full source code, your own accounts and infrastructure, and clean documentation. If we ever part ways, you lose nothing.

What happens after launch?

Every build includes a support period, and most clients keep a light monthly retainer for hosting, monitoring and improvements. Nothing we ship is left to rot.
